I offer a variety of workshops both en plein air and inside the studio. These can be landscape, seascape, portraiture, life drawing/painting, still life and sketchbook techniques. These can also be tailored to the needs of a particular art group or society.

‘Seascape – Waves & Water’ Workshop in Acrylics with Mark Warner. Sat 6th Dec 2025
Saturday 6th December 2025, 10am to 4pm
I will be back at the Willow Gallery in May to give a Full Day Workshop on ...Seascape - Waves & Water'

For this workshop we will be looking at a Seascape where the waves and water become a focal point within the composition.
We will examine the layering of acrylic colour within a seascape, while also paying closer attention to the translucency of colour and lines of foam in the water.
This workshop will explore movement of the sea as well as creating distance within a seascape.
We will also see how sketch planning can assist your painting.
Reference image will be provided, materials needed are listed below.
