Sketching underpins much of what I do.

I mainly use an A4 Landscape travel journal with watercolour paper.

Water soluble pencils are my choice (I use darker 6/8B Black only).

I only use black pencils as I then can add colour with either washes of watercolour or watered down acrylics. Or leave them as monochromatic sketches.
